Pursuant to Audiences Yorkshire’s Articles of Association, the Trustees hereby give notice of an Annual General Meeting to be held on:
Thursday 11 December 2008, at 5.30pm at:
Thoresby Room, Leeds City Museum, Millennium Square, Leeds, LS2 8BH
In addition, I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us in celebrating the festive season with drinks and a buffet following the formal proceedings.

The Company can appoint up to 16 (sixteen) Trustees.
No more than 10 (ten) Member places can be appointed by the AGM.
The remaining 6 (six) places can be filled by Co-optees.
We currently have 7 (seven) Member places and 0 (Zero) Co-optee places available on the Board.
A number of Trustees are due to retire by rotation. In accordance with the Articles of Association, Helen Dobson (Member), Sheena Wrigley (Co-optee), Dan Bates (Member) will retire by rotation this year. Being eligible, Helen Dobson and Dan Bates offer themselves for re-election.
Sheena Wrigley (Co-optee) and Madani Younis (Co-optee) will formally resign this year but offers themselves for election as a Member Trustees.
As a member you are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM. In addition, any member is entitled to appoint another person as a proxy to exercise all or any of the member’s rights to attend and to speak and to vote at the AGM.

Member organisations can only forward nominations for Member places.
